A father and son. A pickup truck. A promise to do the job right.
Philip Swindle started City Wide Landscape the way most great small businesses start — with hard work, a good reputation, and word of mouth. He built a business around a simple principle: show up when you say you will, do the job better than expected, and treat every customer's property like it's your own.
His son Jacob grew up in the business — literally. He learned the trade from the ground up, and now as Vice President, he's carrying that same work ethic into the next generation of City Wide. The transition is deliberate: Jacob is taking the wheel, but Philip isn't going anywhere.
Together, they handle jobs that most landscaping outfits won't touch — heavy tractor work, full property clearing, major tree removal — alongside the everyday lawn care and maintenance that keeps the neighborhood looking sharp.
Philip has been working the land in Montgomery County for over two decades. He knows Texas soil, Texas weather, and how to get things done right the first time.
Jacob grew up in the business and is leading City Wide into its next chapter — bringing fresh energy and the same family pride to every job.
Philip and Jacob have always believed that a business has a responsibility to its community. That's why they proudly maintain the grounds at Magnolia United Methodist Church — because neighbors look out for neighbors, and some things are just the right thing to do.
When you hire City Wide, you're supporting a family that's invested in this community — not a franchise, not a national chain.
"Going the Extra Yard isn't just our tagline. It's how we operate every single day."
